I am pleased to offer this Antique Early Hand-Painted German Plate! 

This beautiful piece looks to be a very early airbrushing, and shows a what looks like a Dutch boat dock with sail boats on the water. 

The large plate is vividly colored and makes perfect for display. 

The back is marked with “Made in Germany” and is marked in sharpie “From Joel Borgen November 6, 1965  This plate 60 years old”  suggesting the plate was crafted c. 1905.

Measures approx. 12″ Diameter x 1-1/4″ Deep

Description

This Antique Plate is in good condition for its age, showing some light scratching and mild dust from previous display. There is light visible crazing on the front & back, and some moderate scuffing to the back from mounting.
