I am pleased to offer this Antique Ambrotype Photograph! This fantastic photograph shows a very smart looking Young Lad sitting with his arm slung over a large book. His cheeks and the buttons on his suit are hand tinted. The ambrotype comes in its original ornate brass mat and protector, and a partial union style case.
This antique ambrotype photograph is in good condition, showing some very light scratching from age. The brass shows some very small spots of patina. The lacquer coating on the back of the photograph has become chippy. The partial case shows some moderate edge wear from age.
Measures approx. 3-1/8″ W x 3-5/8″ H
