Antique 1929 Marx Joy-Rider Tin Wind Up Crazy Car Toy Great Working Shape!

$0.00

I am pleased to offer this Antique 1929 Marx Tin Wind Up Joy-Rider Crazy Car!  This hilarious early Marx toy features lots of lithograph detailing, with phrases like “I do not choose to run”, “Thanks for the buggy ride”, “Gone Nuts” and many more!  The driver, a “college boy” has a spinning head.  The car has a fixed wind key on the bottom side, and when wound up the car lives up to it’s “Crazy car” name as it drives all over the place spinning, reversing, turning!  The back of the driver seat is marked “Louis Marx Co. N.Y. U.S.A.”.

This antique Marx Crazy Car is in great working condition, showing some light dust from storage.  There is some light visible scratching on the body, mostly on the corners from where the car would bump from moving.  There is paint wear along the moving parts of the driver’s body.  There is also very light oxidation visible on some areas of paint loss, and the axles.  The wind up mechanism is in strong working condition, and when the the car is wound up it drives fast and crazy!!
