Antique 1903 Lehmann Tap Tap Porter Tin Windup Walker Toy Germany

I am pleased to offer this Antique c.1903 Lehmann Tap Tap Porter Tin Windup Walking Toy!  This toy is a great example of turn of the century Lehmann toys, and features brightly lithographed tin construction and a fixed wind up mechanism.  When wound, the cart will move forwards causing the porter’s legs to “walk”. 

This antique Lehmann toy is in good condition for its age, showing some light scratching and some mild paint loss to the porter and the cart.  There is some light oxidation visible on the areas of paint loss.  The wind up is strong, and will quickly move the wheels of the cart.  The porter’s legs walk well, however occasionally will jam and require a push.
