I am pleased to offer this Beautiful Antique Florence Gutta Percha Hand Mirror!
This beautiful collectible vanity piece was made from molded gutta percha and features an elegant Victorian pattern with a Harvesting themed image on the back.
The mirror is oval shaped and has a mirrored-finished oval copper sheet that is held in by a ring of percha.
The handle is marked “Pat. June 19 1866” “11” and “Florence”.

This antique gutta percha hand mirror is in fair condition for its age. The gutta shows some small cracks and mild deterioration common with the material from its long life (well over 100 years!). the gutta ring the holds the mirror in has broken, however it still fits in to hold it in place (I would not shake it around much though, easy fix with some adhesive). The copper plate has lost some of its mirror finish around the edges.
