- A very interesting and unusual Piece
- Although I am not 100% confident, through my research and many discussions with collectors and colleagues I have come to believe that these panels were made as souvenirs / gifts for the 1893 Columbian World Exhibition.
- It is a copper sheet which was used to make an embossed copy of the famous “Landing of Columbus” Whole Plate Thermoplastic Case (Berg 1-1)
- Dark bronze finish applied to the front
- Measures approx. 10-3/8″ x 8-1/2″
- Nice addition to any World’s Fair or Photography Case Collection!
