12 Piece Vintage VALE Bone China England Teacup & Saucer Set c. 1953-1964 #6425


I am pleased to offer this 12 Piece Vintage Vale Tea Cup and Saucer Set!  

This beautiful set has a light blue rim pattern on the exterior, with gold gilt trim on the cups and handles.  The interior of the cups have a gorgeous floral pattern along the side. 

The plates are matching. 

Cups are stamped on the bottom: “Genuine Bone China Vale Made in Longton England” with that particular stamping dating c. 1953-1964.

Cup Measures approx. 2-1/2″ H x 3-3/8″ Diameter

Saucer measures approx. 5-5/8″ Diameter  

notes:  In 1913 Herbert Joseph Colclough was visited by King George V and Queen Mary. They bestowed upon him a royal license which created the well known Royal Vale China.

Nice overall vintage condition. There are some small chips along some of the bases, but nothing that overly is notable or effects displays. Light scratching and some minor crazing is visible from age. Could use a light cleaning. Displays well!
