Description

Good overall condition. The Union Case Shows some moderate scratching and some chipping along the edges. The hinges on the lid are quite loose, but are holding. The clasp does not hold due to a chip on the wall (see photos). The interior shows some light discoloration to the purple velvet pad, and some moderate patina to the brass mat and preserver. The tintype itself shows some light scratching, but the image is very appealing visually.
