Note: The USS Monitor was a very interesting little battleship built by the Union Navy during the Civil War. Description

Good overall condition. The case shows some moderate scratching and light chipping along the edges on both sides. Hinges are in good shape, clasp holds closed. Original manufacturer’s label and velvet sidewalls intact. Tintype shows some light dust and minor scratching from age. Their brass mats/preservers show some light patina but retain a nice luster.
