Very Good condition considering age. Blade Shows some average pitting and oxidation on both sides, and some nicks along the edge. The mark on the ricasso is obscured from oxidation, remains at about 40%. The german silver mounts show some tarnish and light scratching from time. The horn grip pieces show some cracking and chips along the edges, but remain firmly in place. There are some small dents on the bottom area of the handle.   • Stunning German Silver Mounts with Patriotic Motif: Guards have American Eagle with stars. Bottom has American Eagle below American Shield, Liberty Cap & Sword Mounted Balancing Scales.
  • Centered Horn Grip with silvered pins, Blank engraving oval
  • Comes with Antique Velvet Knife Box, with form fitting handle slot
