Vintage Wind Up Celluloid Indian Boy On Horse Occupied Japan Toy

I am pleased to offer a vintage wind up celluloid Indian boy on a horse.  This piece measures 5 1/2″ long and stands 3 3/8″ high.  Base and wheels of tin.  Wind key (not included) on side and toy moves along a flat surface as the horse head bobs up and down.  Bottom marked “Made In Japan”.  Colorful detailing throughout makes for a great display.  Side reads “Made In Occupied Japan, Pat No 875”.

In good condition considering age.  Horse has no major cracks or damage to the celluloid, but does show a few very small cracks around the wind up key hole area.  Has some staining but is still bright and colorful.  Wind up mechanism working but post is off center of key hole.  Bottom base shows some spots of oxidation.  Indian figure is missing an arm and his head looks to have been re-glued at one time.  Still a nice vintage piece.
