Vintage Photo Iwo Jima Memorial Marines Silhouette

Vintage photo featuring the Iwo Jima Memorial, or the Marines Corps War Memorial which is located outside the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. The sculpture is based on the photo “Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima” which was taken during World war II by a news photographer covering the Battle of Iwo Jima. The memorial features and Marines and a Sailor who raised the second flag over Iwo Jima and is dedicated to Marines who have lost their lives.

This photo features a wide shot of the memorial.

Photo measures 2 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ and is in good condition showing normal wear and discoloration for its age. There are some very light streaks on the right side of the photo.
