Vintage Military Hat Lapel Pin US Great Seal Eagle

I have no idea what this pin signifies, but it is very unique looking!

Gold colored metal pin is in the shape of a half circle on the top, with the bottom half forming a point. The US Great Seal is at the very center of  the pin. This pin is in good condition showing light wear and discoloration for a great vintage look. Measures 7/8″ wide and 15/16″ tall. Engraving on the back appears to say “LIGI”, also on the back, there are two pins with caps for attaching to a hat or clothing.

A very nice addition to any collection!
