Vintage Bandai Japan Battery Chaparral Toy Car Boxed Near Mint 9-3/4″ Long

I am offering a Vintage Bandai Toys Chaparral made from plastic with rubber tires.  This toy is in great near mint condition.  Includes decals that have never been applied.  When I placed batteries in the toy in the direction illustrated the car went in reverse and when I put them in backwards the car went forwards.  I believe this to be a defect from the factory since the car does not appear to be played with.  The box is in good condition with some wear on edges.  Measures: 9-3/4″ inches long.  Made in Japan.
