Tintype Photo Formal Family Pose Fancy Hats

Antique tintype photograph features a family of five in a formal professional pose.  Photo shows three (3) ladies, one (1) gentleman, and one (1) small child.  Seated in the front is a woman in a long dress with high neck and long trail of buttons down the front and a very fancy tall hat with a lot of flowers on it.  Seated beside her is a mustached gentleman in a suit with the front open to see what looks to be the long chains of his pocket watch.  He is holding a long thin cane and has a young boy seated on his knee.  The child appears to be around five years old and is wearing short school-boy pants and jacket with tall boots and a hat.  Standing behind these three are two other women, both in long fancy high collar dresses and also wearing nice hats, though not quite as fancy as the hat on the woman seated in front.  Tintype measures 3 1/2″ X 2 3/8″.

Photo is of unknown origin and is in good condition considering age.  A great look back at people and the period dress they chose.  Showing just a few scratches, this would make a great addition to any collection.
