Interesting Notes: Lysander Bradford Howard (1830-1922) was the first photographer in Old North Bridgewater.  Records go back as far as 1856 where he was listed as a Daguerrotypist and Ambrotypist.  Like all photographers of the time, Howard likely started doing tintypes sometime in the 1860s as the public demand for them was high.  He was listed in the town as a town photographer until the late 1870s, but continued on his passion likely until his death in 1922.
