Rare Late 1930s Remtrol Duck Pong Game Magnetic Remote Control Game 100% w/ Box

$0.00

I am pleased to offer this Rare Late 1930s Remtrol Duck Pond Game!  This early precursor to remote control games is quite something!  The game was patented in 1936 by Carl A. Philippi.  The game functions by using a hand-held magnet to move around the various celluloid swans, frog, or fish across the water.

The game comes complete in its original box with instructions, celluloid pieces, rocks, bridge, house, cork, magnets, and stands.  Included also as a bonus is a printed copy of the original Patent documentation!

This game is in good condition for its age.  The pieces and game area show some light wear from previous use, and some light scratching.  The celluloid pieces are all in good shape.  I did not test with water, but I did test with the magnet and it moved the pieces around (magnet is pretty weak, but it is almost 80 years old).  The original box shows  some moderate staining and mild edge wear from age (also tape repair on the lid.

Game box measures approx. 14-1/8″ L x 10-1/2″ W x 2″ H
