Vintage Marx Joy Rider Tin College Boy Wind Up Toy Crazy Car 8″ Working

I am pleased to offer a vintage Marx tin wind up Joy Rider Car.  This car measures 8″ in length and stands 5-1/2″ in height.  Wind fixed key on bottom and car moves forward, backwards, turns, and does “wheelies” in a crazy way as drivers head spins around.  Features all tin construction including tin wheels and bright litho graffiti-style graphics throughout.  Wheels marked “The Ride M’ Rough Tire Co” and license plate reads “7-11 NY”.  Back marked “Louis Marx & Co, NY, USA, Patent Pending”.  Dates to the 1920’s.

Toy in good overall condition.  Wind up mechanism works properly and car moves crazily about.  Plastic windshield is missing, as well as the suitcase.  Has some mild scratches as would be expected.  Displays well and would make a fine addition to any vintage toy collection.
