Vintage Manoil M48 Lead Toy Soldier Sniper with Rifle

This is a Vintage “Manoil M48 Sniper” lead toy soldier. It was most likely made in the 1930s. This toy is in good condition , some paint loss from playwear, rifle tip missing, hole in head. Measures 2 7/8″ tall, 1 7/8″ wide.

A bit of history about this wonderful collectible, Manoil was a New York company that began making toys in 1934 and was one of the most popular U.S. makers of lead toy soldiers. Manoil made many of the lead toy soldiers that were sold at dimestores like Woolworth’s.
