Ralph Errolle Opera Star in Tights- Costume Photo

This is a fabulous vintage opera publicity photo that would look wonderful framed. This photo features Ralph Errolle, who was the leading tenor at the Chicago Opera and performed with many other prestigious opera groups.

Errolle is wearing a costume, I am not sure which opera this is from… maybe you know! He is posing in front of some rose bushes and is wearing tights, heeled shoes, a skirt, top and jacket with a long billowy train.    

There is light wear to the corners, one corner is clipped. “Please Credit Carroll Photo Service, 223 E. Pico WE-2980 Los Angeles” appears in text on the back, this text has faded a lot and is hard to read. Measures 8″ x 10″.
