Antique late1840s 6th Plate Daguerreotype Photo 2 Women Lovely Period Style Hair

I am pleased to offer this Antique Early Daguerreotype Photograph of Two Women! These two women are likely family, showing similar facial features (perhaps sisters or even mother/daughter).  They both are sporting an extremely peculiar hairstyle!  The photograph is encased in its original brass mat and protector, and comes inside a composite union style case. (The hinge area is repaired with tape).

This antique daguerreotype is in good condition for its age, showing some very light dust and scratching from age.  There is a small stain on the left woman’s forehead.  The case shows some moderate wear from storage.
