Antique CDV Photo Sweet Faced Child DR. CONANT

I am pleased to offer this Antique CDV Card Photograph that features a toddler child sitting in a decorative floral chair with dress, belt, stockings and shoes visible. Marked by DR. CONANT’S STUDIO, SKOWHEGAN, ME. Very little marks or stains throughout; image has a bright tone with yellowish tint. Endearing pose and expression on child!

Note: Circa 1880, Dr. Conant, a photographer in Skowhegan, Maine, was an inventor as well, as he developed a process to expel poisons and diseases with the Anadrosis Steam Bath Cabinet, consisting of alcohol and opium.

Measurements: approx. 4″ inches long x 2-1/2″ inches wide.
