- Type: Ferrotype aka Tintype with brass mat, preserver and protective glass
- Subject: Two Soldiers pose celebrating. The younger man, who appears very sickly, sights clutching his stomach with his arm. He holds up a glass, in which his older friend is pouring a drink into.
- The older man has a great smirk on his face, happy and relieved his friend (or maybe son perhaps) has survived whatever horrors had happened to him. They both have unlit cigars in their mouths.
