  • Subject:  Dashing Young Soldier brandishing what appears to be a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver (see photo to zoom in and check). His buttons and hat are gilt accented. Nicely painted ironclad ship backdrop.
  • Back of tin has the remains of a 5-cent Inland Exchange Revenue Stamp with a simple line cancel
  • Case:  Brown Thermoplastic, Union Forever (Berg 1-128 Scarce) with Geometric Back (Berg 3-320)

Description

Very Nice overall condition. Image shows some very light scratching, mat abrasions and dust. Brass preserver has heavy bending. Case is in nice shape showing a couple of small chips on the exterior. Hinges operable and clasp functioning. Interior pad and label intact, label showing some discoloration. Last two photos are High-Res scans of the uncased image for your zooming pleasure.
