I am pleased to offer this Antique Tin Wind up Mechanical Steam Boat Toy!
This boat strongly resembles a boat produced by Carette that also appeared in the Marklin catalog c. 1913-1915, however it is unmarked.
The boat features a small centered cabin with three smoke-stacks, one of which has a fixed wind key that is shaped as smoke. The rudder can be turned via a lever on the stern.
The windup powers a small propeller on the boat, and when wound it spins quickly and with ease.
Measures approx. 10-1/2″ L x 2-1/2″ W x 4-1/8″ H

This antique boat is in good working condition. There is moderate loss to the original paint, which has become cracked and flaky. The tower appears to be missing (see spot center in front of cabin). The wind up is strong, and functions as intended.
