Antique Mid-1800s Tillotson Sheffield Far West Hunting Bowie Knife 11.25″

$1,000.00

Very nice overall condition. The blade shows some moderate scratching and some light pitting from age, but is in pretty good shape. The original etching is a bit lost on the bottom side from age, but the top side remains pretty well defined. The guard shows some mild nicks and scratches. The cutlery handle shows some mild scratching, a dented pommel, and what looks to be some repair work near the guard (see photos)The included leather sheath fits very well, and shows moderate wear to the leather from age. The leather remains supple, stitching intact. Belt loop missing.
