Antique Late-1800s Mappin & Webb 13″ “Lady Hunter” Sheffield Bowie Knife w/ Box

$0.00

Very Nice overall condition. Blade show some darkening and tarnishing from age, but minor pitting. The etching is a bit worn but comes through nicely. M&W Stamp and trademark a bit worn, but clearly visible on ricasso. Guard shows mild scratching and heavy tarnish. Handle shows some mild scratching and heavy tarnish throughout, and a few small nicks on the pommel. The period box shows heavy staining and pecks to the felt exterior. The interior silk has a few rips and some loos threading along the edges. Knife fits in and display very will.
