1920s Karl Bub Clockwork Wind Up Tin Train Set

$400.00

I am pleased to offer this Antique Karl Bub Clockwork Train with Cars from Germany 1920s.  This train comes with Engine, Tender car, KBN Refrigerator Car 4125, and a KB Shell fuel Car.  The KB Shell car I believe to be from the 30s, as the KB was the stamp for the secondary factory opened in 1932.  All of the cars are brightly lithod are made from tin.  Comes with what looks like a makeshift Key that does work well.

Locomotive/Engine Car:  Green/Black/Red/Yellow litho with metal trim.  Missing running gear on the wheels.  Awesome feature is that the choke is a brake for the wheels, and requires you to pull it to let the gears run.  Clock works is strong and works great!  Shows mild scratching and moderate oxidation throughout. Wheels move freely.    6-1/2″ L x 2-1/4″ W x 3-1/2″ H

Tender Car: Green/Black/Yellow/Red litho, fake coal in car and tin wheels that move freely.  Shows some light scratching and light oxidation throughout.  4-1/2″ L x 1-7/8″ W x 2/12″ H
