Antique 1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration Button New York City

$75.00

I am pleased to offer this Antique Hudson-Fulton Celebration Commemorative Button Pin of 1909 that features the faces of Henry Hudson and Robert Fulton. Comes with a black ribbon attached to a brass like metal ship marked “Clermont.” Back of pin reads, W.F. Miller of N.Y. City. Little to no wear present on button or ribbon overall; slight oxidation present on back from age. Ship shows patina overall with light dust in crevices. Nice overall aged condition!

Note: The Hudson-Fulton Celebration took place from September 25th to October 9th in 1909, as a commemorative 300th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s discovery of the Hudson River and Robert Fulton’s first successful application of the paddle steamer; both recognized for their achievements as New York City citizens.

Great collectible pieces!
