1980 Olympics Roni Raccoon Pairs Figure Skating Pin

$6.00

Roni was the first Olympic Mascot to be shown in different sporting poses on products. In this pin, there are two Roni’s Figure Skating… how cute is that!  One Roni is wearing a green outfit, the other is wearing a blue outfit and they appear to be skating in the Olympic “pairs” competition. The design of the pin is charming, especially because of Roni’s fluffy raccoon tail. Roni the Raccoon was the Mascot for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid NY.

Pin is metal with enamel paint, measures 1 1/2″ wide and 1″ tall. In good condition with some paint loss and discoloration. The pinback on this pin is missing.

A fun vintage collectible, especially for fans of the Olympics!
