1951 Boy Scouts Asheville NC Newspaper Photo & Clipping

I am pleased to offer a vintage 8″ X 10″ glossy black and white photograph taken for a newspaper article in the Asheville Citizen in North Carolina.  The photo features two young Boy Scouts with two members of the Quota Club.  Pictured are David Sellers, Mrs. Joe Turner, Miss Jennie Lunsford, and Ronald Bradford.  They are collecting newspapers for the Buncombe County Cancer Drive.  The original clipping from the paper is included and is dated Monday, April 30, 1951.  Back of photo stamped “Juanita Wilson, Photographer, Asheville, NC”.  Her name is also hand written at the bottom of the photo.

All in good condition but the photo does show wear with scratches throughout and staining on the edges.  The image is still very clear.  The newspaper clipping has a few small tears and has been folded but is also clear.  Nice vintage photo from the Asheville area.
