1950’s Carolina Mom’s Letter to Clemson College Son

I am pleased to offer this Vintage Handwritten 5-Page Letter From a Mother to Her Clemson College Student Son. Comes in an opened blue tissue like envelope postmarked with a 3 cent Thomas Jefferson stamp from Asheville, North Carolina to Clemson, South Carolina. The letter is handwritten in ink, as she mentions her work and how other people are doing and attending a showing of The Glenn Miller Story later that day, which dates the letter around 1954; near the end she is still wondering how he did on his exams. Light wear from age on pages with visible brown stain marks. Envelope shows some stains with a bent flap. Good overall condition.

A nice lighthearted read!
